These are some of my most recently finished batik pieces and I hope they bring a smile to your face. As you will see I have been exploring the world of geometry which is fascinating. There is so much history and so many ancient beliefs around the numbers and patterns that can be made with a compass and straight edge. Many of these geometric pieces have been mounted on cradled wood panels with encaustic medium which gives a rich translucency to them that is best appreciated in person.
